Welcome to Glades Outfitters, LLC! Our goal is to provide you with the best possible shopping experience, and that includes ensuring that your orders are fulfilled and shipped promptly and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy to understand how we handle shipping and delivery.
Shipping
General Shipping Information
- Order Processing Time
- Most processed within 1-3 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
- Please note that some items may require additional processing time, especially during peak seasons, sales events, or due to operational constraints.

- Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
- Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
- Shipping Locations
- We currently ship to addresses within the United States. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- For international shipping inquiries, please contact our customer service team at Contact@shopgladesoutfitters.com.
Vendor Fulfillment
- Third-Party Fulfillment
- Some items in your order may be fulfilled directly by our vendor partners. These items will be shipped separately from the rest of your order.
- Glades Outfitters, LLC does not have control over the fulfillment process for these items. However, we work closely with our vendor partners to ensure that your orders are fulfilled and shipped in a timely manner.
- Shipping Confirmation and Order Tracking
- For items fulfilled by Glades Outfitters, LLC, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
- For items fulfilled by our vendor partners, you may receive separate shipping confirmation emails and tracking information directly from the vendors.
Shipping Issues and Delays
- Shipping Delays
- While we strive to ensure timely delivery of your orders, there may be occasions when shipping delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will do our best to communicate any delays to you promptly.
- Glades Outfitters, LLC is not responsible for delays caused by our vendors, shipping carriers, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
- Lost or Damaged Packages
- If your package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us immediately at Orders@shopgladesoutfitters.com so we can assist you with filing a claim with the shipping carrier.
- We will work diligently to resolve any issues related to lost or damaged packages and ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Glades Outfitters, LLC, will not ship ANY items to the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.).
Glades Outfitters, LLC, will not ship ANY items to the state of Massachusetts.
SHIPPING RESTRICTION EXCEPTIONS
Some of the states listed above may not have L.E.O. exemptions. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
Glades Outfitters, LLC will not make exceptions to this policy.
P.O. Box Shipments/Restrictions
Glades Outfitters, LLC, abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous material shipped through United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as being capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes, but is not limited to:
Minor Blast/Minor Projection Hazard — Ammunition
Oxidizing Substances — Batteries
Flammable Solids — Black Powder
Flammable and combustible liquid — Cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans
If you wish to order any hazardous material, you must provide a physical address for shipment through UPS.
Magazine Ordering Restrictions
Glades Outfitters, LLC, abides by all state and local regulations regarding the sale of high-capacity magazines. We DO NOT ship high-capacity magazines with firearms to the states or localities listed below. We WILL NOT replace high capacity magazines with state compliant magazines. We DO NOT offer refunds in place of the magazines.
It is the customer’s responsibility for understanding state laws regarding magazine capacities. Customers ordering magazines that are illegal to own in their state will have their orders cancelled and will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
FLAMETHROWER AND PYROTECNIC DEVICE ORDERS
All orders containing a flamethrower or equivalent pyrotechnic device are subject to state and local restrictions. The following states have restrictions on flamethrowers and pyrotechnic devices:
California - Order recipient MUST have a valid State issued pyrotechnic license. A valid copy of a California issued pyrotechnic license will be required before your order can be fulfilled. A copy of a valid pyrotechnic license can be submitted to Contact@shopgladesoutfitters.com and reference the order in the email for processing.
Maryland - Sale of flamethrowers or equivalent pyrotechnical devices are banned in the State of Maryland. Glades Outfitters, LLC will not facilite the sale of flamethrowers or equivalent pyrotechnic devices to customers in Maryland.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any order containing a flamethrower or equivalent pyrotechnic device will be required to sign a release of liability waiver before the order can be shipped.
Failure to follow the guidelines above related to flamethrower or pyrotechnic devices will result in an immediate order cancellation and a 15% restocking fee will be assessed to any refund owed.
STATES/LOCALITIES WITH APPLIED MAGAZINE RESTRICTIONS
California - No magazines greater than 10 rounds
Colorado - No magazines greater than 15 rounds, effective July 1st, 2013
Boulder - No magazines greater than 10 rounds
Connecticut - 10 Rounds and less with a valid permit.
Hawaii - No magazines greater than 10 rounds
Illinois (North Chicago) - No rifle magazines greater than 16 rounds
Aurora, Skokie, Chicago, Evanston - No rifle magazines greater than 15 rounds
Highland Park, Cook County, Dolton, Homewood, Deerfield - No rifle magazines greater than 10 rounds
Deerfield - No shotgun magazines over 5 rounds
Indiana (South Bend) - No magazines greater than 15 rounds
Maryland - No magazines greater than 10 rounds October 1st, 2013
Massachusetts - No sales. Glades Outfitters, LLC will not ship ANY items to the state of Massachusetts.
New York - No magazines greater than 10 rounds
New Jersey - No magazines greater than 15 rounds
Vermont - No rifle magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped as of April 13, 2018. No pistol magazines over 15 rounds effective immediately.
Washington D.C. - No Sales. Glades Outfitters, LLC will not ship ANY items to the District of Columbia.
Glades Outfitters, LLC, will not ship high-capacity magazines for CA customers to a High-Capacity Magazine Dealer. High-Capacity Magazine Dealers in CA may place orders with Glades Outfitters, LLC.
MAGAZINE RESTRICTION EXCEPTIONS
Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letterhead signed by their department's superior officer stating that the magazine will either be used in the execution of the L.E.O.'s duties, or off duty. Glades Outfitters, LLC only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as L.E.O.’s. Some of the states listed above may not have L.E.O. exemptions. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
Ammunition Ordering Restrictions
Glades Outfitters, LLC, abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of ammunition.
You agree and accept all policies described in our Terms of Use.
You are at least 21 years of age (for handgun ammunition) or 18 years of age (for rifle ammunition).
By purchasing ammunition, you are not violating any local, state, or federal laws.
You have not been convicted of any felony, a misdemeanor of domestic abuse, and you are not chemically dependent.
You have no legal restraint that would prohibit you from possessing, ordering, owning, or transferring ammunition.
You have never been committed to any mental institution or been adjudicated as mentally defective. You will not sell ammunition to any minor.
You cannot have ammunition shipped to a post office box.
You do not live in a state, city, or county that prohibits you from owning, purchasing, or transferring ammunition.
Customers who order ammunition in states prohibiting the order of ammunition will have their orders cancelled and a 5% restocking fee will be charged.
WE WILL NOT SHIP AMMUNITION TO THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
California — No Sales to the cities of Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Avalon.
Connecticut — No sales without a valid permit.
Alaska — No Sales. Ammunition must be shipped to a freight forwarder.
Hawaii — No Sales. Ammunition must be shipped to a freight forwarder.
Illinois — No sales to the city of Chicago or Cook County. All other Illinois residents must email us Contact@shopgladesoutfitters.com a copy of their FOID card in addition to their State ID. Ammunition must ship to an address on one of these ID's.
Massachusetts — No sales. Glades Outfitters, LLC will not ship ANY items to the state of Massachusetts.
Maryland — No Sales to the City of Annapolis and Montgomery County
New York — No Sales to New York City, or its five Burroughs. Starting January 1st, 2014 all ammunition must be sent to a FFL.
New Jersey — When ordering ammunition commonly used in a handgun/to be used in a handgun, email us Contact@shopgladesoutfitters.com a copy of your Firearms ID. We must ship to the address on the FID.
Puerto Rico —No Sales. Ammunition must be shipped to a freight forwarder.
Washington D.C. — No sales. Glades Outfitters, LLC will not ship ANY items to the District of Columbia.
This is not a comprehensive list but is meant as a guide. It is in no way meant to include all laws and restrictions across the United States. Please contact the authorities in your area for any possible restrictions.
Other Ordering Restrictions
Alaska - No Tannerite sales.
California - Pyrotechnic license required for ALL flamethrower sales
Hawaii - No magazines greater than 10 rounds. No AR or AK pistol sales.
Maryland - No Tannerite sales or Flamethrower sales.
Massachusetts - No sales.
Minnesota - The following firearms are prohibited in the state of Minnesota: GSG Rimfire pistols, Walther Rimfire Pistols, Cobra, Phoenix Arms, and Heritage Arms.
Ohio - No Mossberg 590 Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, or equivalent shotguns.
Vermont - No rifle magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped as of April 13, 2018. No pistol magazines over 15 rounds effective immediately.
Washington D.C. - No sales.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
Returns
At Glades Outfitters, LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please review our returns policy below:
Return Eligibility
- Timeframe: Items must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Condition: All items must be returned in their original packaging and in new, unused condition. Items that have been used, altered, or damaged as a result of use are not eligible for return.
- Packaging: Ensure that the item is securely packaged to prevent any damage during return shipping.
Return Process
- Initiate a Return
- To start a return, please contact our customer service team at Returns@shopgladesoutfitters.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number (RAN).
- Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of high value. Glades Outfitters, LLC is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
- Restocking Fee
- All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds
- Processing Time: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. Please allow up to 7 business days for this process.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:
- Ammunition
- Flamethrowers/Pyrotechnic devices
- Firearm Upper Receivers/Assemblies
- Firearm Slides/Assemblies
- Food Items
- Impact/Reactive targets
- Gift Cards
- Clearance and final sale items
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
